Monday Mornings (Where's the Coffee??)

Good Morning World,

It's cold day today in Hartford, WI. We are expected to be receiving snow tomorrow. I can feel it in the air. It's one of those days that if I drank warm coffee I would. Normally I go down to our local Dunkin' Donuts and get a frozen coffee with what ever flavor is my favorite at the moment. For months it was cake batter. Now it's Carmel.

Do you have a regular routine that gets you going especially on Mondays? Have you ever wondered why Mondays are so tiresome. Maybe because you had a great weekend. Or you just want that extra hour of sleep but you know you need to be up.

For me it's the knowledge of knowing my kids need to be at the bus by 6:45am. And although they are nearly adults my mother bear kicks in and says wake them up.

My daughter had a parenting project this past weekend. Where she had to take care of a mechanical baby for three days. She realized that it's not so easy being a parent....LOL And I realized that although each stage of a child's life has obstacles I'm glad to have mine as teenagers/young adults verses infants. Every stage has a season. And at the time the season is beautiful. But once it's past it becomes a fond memory. Something you pull out when you realize the season is gone.

What every you do for your Monday ritual I hope it comes easy. And you know that each step towards the holidays is a great one.
